<strong>1. EXHIBIT DAYS, DATES AND HOURS</strong><br />
<br />
The exhibit area will be open to Kansas Career Opportunities attendees according to the following schedule:<br />

Thursday, October 18, 2007<br />
12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.<br />
<br />
The University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita<br />
Thursday, October 25, 2007<br />
12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.<br />

<br />
<strong>2. APPLICATION FOR EXHIBIT SPACE</strong><br />
<br />
Applications for space are submitted on the Rural Health Education and Services website http://ruralhealth.kumc.edu or by completing the University of Kansas Medical Center Exhibit Application and Contract form that was mailed. If returning by mail, send one copy to:  Rural Health Education and Services, The University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita, 1010 N. Kansas, Suite 3026, Wichita, Kansas, 67214-3199. Payment must be submitted with registration.<br />
<br />
Upon acceptance, each exhibitor will be notified of space assignment.  Each community represented at the Kansas Career Opportunities must have contracted for space.<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>3. EXHIBIT FEE</strong><br />
<br />
The exhibit fee is Three Hundred Dollars ($300)* if exhibiting at both events.  The exhibit fee is Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250)* if exhibiting at one event.  Space assignments shall not be less than one exhibit space.  Exhibit fee includes registration, lunch, and event materials for two representatives.  A fee of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25) will be added for each additional representative.<br />
<br />
*Exhibit fee is waived for exhibitors who currently have a fully executed Contingency Contract with the Kansas Recruitment Center.<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>4. PAYMENT</strong><br />
<br />
The exhibit fee must be sent with the application. Space will be awarded to the first twenty-five (25) communities who respond.<br />
<br />
Exhibitors will not be allowed to occupy assigned space until all monies due the KUMC are paid in full.  Make checks payable to:  The University of Kansas Medical Center.<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>5. REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATION</strong><br />
<br />
If written notice of space cancellation is received by KUMC one week prior to event date, a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee, will be made.<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>6. SUBLETTING OF SPACE</strong><br />
<br />
Exhibitors may not assign, sublet, or in any other manner transfer the whole or any part of space assigned to them.<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>7. EXHIBIT SPACE</strong><br />
<br />
Exhibit space will consist of one six (6) foot table, two chairs, tablecloth, and skirting.  No electrical outlets are available.  Wireless Internet access is available at both locations.<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>8. INSTALLATION OF EXHIBIT</strong><br />
<br />
Exhibitors must set up and tear down displays according to the following schedule:<br />

<strong>9. LIABILITY</strong><br />
<br />
The exhibitor assumes all responsibility for property damage, personal injury or death to any party by reason of exhibitor’s participation in the Kansas Career Opportunities events and the exhibitor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold the KUMC, and its subcontractors, harmless from all liability which might ensue from any cause whatsoever arising out of the exhibitor’s participation in the Kansas Career Opportunities events.  Exhibitors shall obey all federal, state and municipal laws and ordinances applicable to their own exhibits, and agree to abide by the policies of KUMC regarding use of facilities and conduct on the premises of both KUMC and KUSM-Wichita.  Exhibitors further agree not to discriminate against any person because of race, religion, color, sex, disability, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry or age in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs or activities.<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>10. CANCELLATION OF MEETING AND CONVENTION</strong><br />
<br />
If for any reason whatsoever KUMC is prevented from holding the Kansas Career Opportunities events, KUMC shall not be held liable for any expenses incurred by the Exhibitor.  In that case, KUMC agrees to refund exhibitor fees previously paid to KUMC, less an administrative fee of $50.00, within 8 weeks of cancellation of the event.<br />

<br />
<strong>11. RULES AS A PART OF CONTRACT</strong><br />
<br />
These rules and regulations are to be considered as a part of all Exhibitor contracts.  KUMC reserves the right to interpret them as well as make final decisions on all point that the rules and regulations do not cover.<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>12. REFERRALS</strong><br />
<br />
All participants attending the Kansas Career Opportunities event will be considered a referral of KUMC Rural Health Education and Services.<br />
<br />
In our continued efforts to evaluate our success, we request exhibitors notify KUMC Rural Health Education and Services of any direct or indirect referrals that are a result of exhibiting at the Kansas Career Opportunities event.<br />
<br />
In the event a candidate is placed due to the direct or indirect referral of KUMC Rural Health Education and Services, a Media Consent Release form will be sent to the exhibitor. <br />
<br />
If an exhibitor currently has a Contingency Contract with the Kansas Recruitment Center, applicable Contract fees will apply upon candidate placement.<br />
